Torrey is a skilled trial lawyer who handles a variety of personal injury cases, including automobile collisions, trucking/tractor-trailer wrecks, premises liability, slip and falls, negligent security, wrongful death and traumatic injury matters. His trial skills have allowed his clients to recover the compensation they deserve when the insurance companies either refuses to accept responsibility or simply fails to value the clients particular case for the maximum amount.
Before joining The Roth Firm, Torrey spent several years working for one of the premier, national insurance defense firms. There, he represented insurance companies, individuals and corporate defendants in a mixture of personal injury cases ranging from automobile and tractor-trailer collisions to premises liability and other catastrophic claims.
This prior experience representing the insurance companies provides him a unique understanding into how the insurance companies evaluate and attempt to defend personal injury cases. Torrey now uses this experience to benefit his clients.
A native of Virginia, Torrey graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2006. In 2012, Torrey received his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School where he was honored with The Outstanding Graduate Award. During law school, Torrey served as the Executive Articles Editor of the John Marshall Law Journal and interned for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia. Torrey was also a National Finalist in the American Bar Association's National Negotiation Competition.
Torrey is licensed to practice in both Florida and Georgia, including all Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia .
Outside of the office, Torrey enjoys spending time with his wife, Maggie, playing golf and cooking on the Big Green Egg.
