Jacob M. Jackson
Jacob M. Jackson was born in Montgomery, Alabama and graduated from Auburn University where he earned a degree in economics with a dual minor in business administration and political science. Jacob also served as the senior vice president of his business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi.
Jacob earned his law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He served as an executive member of the Cumberland Trial Advocacy Board, which oversees an organization with a perennial top tier ranking among competitive court programs across the country.
Jacob was also a member of Cumberland’s National Arbitration team, where he competed and finished as a quarterfinalist in the 2013 Tulane National Baseball Arbitration Competition.
Jacob also served as a practice member and consultant to the head coach and current Dean, Henry C. Strickland, of the Cumberland National Negotiation team. He participated in various trial and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) competitions, and won the 2011 Cumberland Summer Mediation Competition. Jacob was also a member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.
Jacob is admitted to practice in Georgia and in Federal Courts throughout Georgia. He is a well-established trial lawyer and has devoted all of his year of practice to representing individuals and families injured or killed due to the negligence of other individuals or corporations. Jacob has earned the reputation as a skilled trial lawyer, but also as an attorney who cares for his clients and one to upholds the highest professional and ethical standards.
Jacob has successfully litigated and tried cases throughout Georgia and Federal Court while championing the rights of his clients injured in accidents involving large commercial trucks and commercial vehicles, wrongful death, as well as motor vehicle collisions, and premises liability including slip and fall cases at Hartsfield-Jackson, Atlanta International Airport. He has earned the distinction of being one of Atlanta's foremost experts on slip and fall cases at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
When not working for his personal injury clients, Jacob enjoys sports, fitness, watching movies and reading.
